M. Carmen Lane, MSOD is a two-spirit African-American and Haudenosaunee (Mohawk/Tuscarora) artist and organizational consultant living in Cleveland, Ohio. Carmen attended Earlham College receiving their BA in Women’s Studies, earned an MS in Organization Development from American University and studied at the Gestalt OSD Center. As a public speaker and educator, Carmen has engaged organizations and communities on the interrelationship between self-awareness, diversity and systems change. They are the founder and director of an urban retreat center and social practice experiment in holistic health, leadership development and Indigenous arts & culture. Carmen is a member and Amanda Fourther Scholar at NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science.
